Established in 1988, Northwest Environmental & Recycling, Inc. in Cornelius Oregon, has been recycling organic waste from commercial agro-businesses like nurseries, professional landscaping, City & County projects and from local residents like you!

 

When you recycle, you conserve natural resources and divert valuable materials from landfills, and help to keep our planet green. We take organic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills and recycle it back into nature where it belongs. Not only do we produce and sell premium soil blends and 100% living organic compost, we accept organic waste materials dropped off at our facility.

accepts the following source-separated materials:

• Grass • Leaves • Natural Vegetation • Limbs	• Logs • Boards • Stumps • Other Wood Waste

 

Charges are based on loosely loaded yard debris. Fees are calculated by the cubic yard. We recommend that you not place your yard waste in plastic bags. If you choose to bring the yard trimmings in plastic bags you will be required to empty the bag of its contents in the appropriate location and keep your plastic bag. Plastic is not compostable and is an ongoing problem with our machinery.
